This e-mail just came in, I was eatting lunch, and Yahoo’s Instant Messenger popped up to show I got an e-mail from pixiekisses . Here it is. Read it over.

Notice the date on this e-mail? ” Tue, 29 Jun 2004 00:57:06 UT”. Today is August 3! What the hell happened to this e-mail? It must have bounced from server to server, kinda like a cat who is left behind when a family moves only to find the family 1000 miles and a few months later. This e-mail manages to do the impossible, make the United States Post Office look good.

General Blather

Damn, I’m bored. I think it’s just one of them days.

My favorite online radio station is kexp.org. It’s the University of Washington’s station, which is out of Seattle. They have the greatest mix of music I have ever heard from a radio station. My favorite show is John in the Morning. It makes me want to move to Washington and go to college.

Kris and I are going to a Detroit Tiger’s baseball game. The game is Thursday night at 7:05 and they are playing the Chicago White Sox. This will be Kris’ first baseball game. We bought $8 bleacher tickets. Included with each ticket are your choice of a hot dog or slice of pizza and a pop. Pretty good deal really. We are staying with my family Thursday night through Saturday morning in Dundee, MI. Friday night we are planning to go to Carl’s Hide-A-Way to eat the world’s greatest soft taco.

Hemingway and Grandpa

I wanna grow up to look like Papa Hemingway someday. My grandpa kinda looks like him. My grandpa has the same stark white hair, cut in the same manner, and his beard is trimmed the same. But my grandpa is a more grizziled looking Hemingway. Kinda like if Hemingway got knocked around a bit. My grandpa only has one eye. My grandpa’s face is weathered, his hands are scarred from pinching them in fan belts, and his nuckles are calloused from slipped wrenches. My grandpa would probably look more like Hemingway if he would have sat around in bars, hunted elephants, fished, and other “manly” things instead of doing physical labor while working for a living. Hmmmm….
I wanna grow up to look like my grandpa someday.

Where did you all go?

I’ve just noticed in the last week that I have been losing friends from my list. I went from a high of 30, down to my currently pathetic level of 25. 25 readers! Is this what it has come to people? 25 readers make the baby Jesus cry! Two of my favorite writers have pulled the plug on their journals. That is rather sad. It was totally out of the blue. They hadn’t even been complaining about the drudgery of writting a journal or any crap like that. It’s weird in away, how journals give the reader a glimps into someone’s life and with a push of a button that can all end.
You remaining 25 need to stick with me, I’m begging ya! If you read my journal but aren’t a friend, why not join up? Don’t want to? Well Screw you too!
